Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Full Color.

A Full Color service requires approximately 45 minutes of processing plus additional time for application and consultation. Expect total appointment time between 60–90 minutes depending on hair length, texture, and any extra services like a post-color blowout or add-on treatments.

The Full Color service does NOT include a haircut or blow-dry. If you want either, please book them as additional services AFTER color processing completes. Do not schedule a haircut during the color processing time to ensure optimal results and timing.

Single-process color is formulated to deliver solid gray coverage for many clients, though effectiveness varies by hair type and previous color. Your stylist will assess and recommend the best technique or a specialized product if additional coverage is needed.

We recommend waiting 48–72 hours before shampooing to allow color to set fully. Use sulfate-free, color-safe shampoos when you do wash to preserve tone and longevity. Your stylist will give personalized aftercare tips based on your color and hair condition.

Minor risks include temporary scalp sensitivity or allergic reactions; a patch test may be recommended for new clients. Color can also cause dryness—professional products and conditioning treatments minimize damage and maintain hair health. Discuss allergies and concerns with your stylist beforehand.

Root touch-ups are typically scheduled every 4–6 weeks depending on growth rate and desired look. For less maintenance, you can stretch appointments with color-caring shampoos and gloss treatments. Your stylist will recommend a personalized schedule at consultation.
